Instructions for 3 sizes: 34/35", 37/38", 40/41" bust or chest.
The yarn used originally was Patons Big Ben, with a tension of 3.5 sts and 4.5 rows to 1" square, using no. 3 (6.5mm) needles. You could try a modern chunky yarn and work a tension square, changing the needle size if necessary.
