A vintage knitting pattern for a ladder effect lacy stitch sweater in double knitting yarn, and with instructions to make it in 8 sizes.
To suit bust: 32" - 46".
The white top as a split back and the red top has long sleeves.
You will need a double knitting yarn to make the items, with a tension of 5 pattern repeats to 14cm (approx 5.5"), measured over the pattern, when stitches have been dropped.
The 'ladder' effect is created by working yarn forward to make stitches at the top of the rib, the garment is then worked all in garter stitch and the 'made' stitches are dropped just before the cast off, to form the lace ladders.
The pattern leaflet is from circa 1980s and it opens up into a poster size, rather than booklet form. Its in good used condition.
