Bootees and mitts are both knitted in garter stitch and a pretty open lacy rib, with a tension over garter stitch of 15 sts to 2" and 14 rows to 1". Bootees - 4.75" length of foot and 4" from top of top of ankle to base of heel,
Right of cover: Cosy little bootees for a baby from birth to 3 months, they are knitted in a firm, close stitch with ribbed top and ribbon ties, with a tension of 8 sts to 1" and 15 rows to 1" measured over the pattern. Size 3.75" length of foot and 4" from ankle to base of heel.
Foot of cover: Adorable little bootees for a baby of 3/6 months. They are knitted in double moss stitch with pretty scallop edged ribbed turn over tops, with a tension of 8 sts to 1" and 14 rows to 1" measured over the pattern. Size - 4.25" length of foot and 3" from ankle to base of heel.
The pattern leaflet is from circa 1940s and its in a good vintage condition.
