A vintage knitting pattern for fair isle gloves for adults,

These gloves are all made on two needles only. They each have a fair isle design on the back, neatly fitting ribbed wrists and plain stocking stitch palms.


Flower Motif Gloves (lower right photo) In two colours, originally navy blue and white, these pretty gloves have ribbed, striped wrists, three flowers on the backs, and plain palms. 9.75" overall length, 3.25" width across back of hand above thumb.
Tension 9 sts and 12 rows to 1" over st. st.

Step Pattern Gloves (top left photo) In three colours, originally dark green and tan on light green, these charming gloves have an unusual fair isle 'step' pattern on the backs, 9.75" overall length, 3.25" width across back of hand, above thumb,

Classic Design Gloves (bottom left photo) With classic fair isle bands on theirs backs, and stripes through the ribbed wrists, these gloves were designed in red and green on a natural background. 9.5" overall length, 3.25" width across back of hand, above thumb

Star Motif Gloves (top right photo) These attractive gloves in blue and natural, have vertically striped ribbing, speckled fingers and a star design on their backs. 9.5" overall length, 3.25" width across back of hand, above thumb.
Tension 17 sts to 2" and 11 rows to 1" over st. st.

The original booklet has 8 pages in total, its from circa 1950s and overall good condition, but with the remains of a small red stamp on the cover.
