A vintage knitting pattern for child's scarf, mitts, bonnet or cap set, suitable for either a boy or girl from 2 to 4 years of age,
Original yarn: Ramada Super Knitting Wool 3 ply with a tension of 17 sts to 2", and 11 rows to 1", over stocking stitch and using no. 11 (3.0mm) needles, or 9 sts and 12 rows to 1" using no. 12 (2.75mm) needles,
Measurements:
Scarf - 40" length, 7" width,
Mitts - 6" overall length, 5.25" all round hand above thumb,
Bonnet - 13.5" round face edge, 5.5" depth from back to front,
Cap - 14.25" round head edge, 6" depth,
The original leaflet is from circa 1940s/50s and its in good vintage condition,
